Here is a selection of local and national beer festivals, with maybe a few interesting ones from other regions. Don't forget to also check our diary of social events.

Thu 15th - Sat 17th July 2010 7th Bromsgrove Beer Festival
100 Real Ales plus ciders and perries. Thurs 7 - 11 (CAMRA members only) Fri 5-11, Sat 11-11 or until the beer runs out.Entrance £3 CAMRA members £1. This is a quiet festival; no loud music. Bromsgrove RFC, Finstall Park, Finstall, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Solihull CAMRA's July social will be here. See events page for train time.

Thurs 29th - Sat 31st July 2010 3rd Stafford Beer Festival
70 real ales, ciders, perries, country wines. LocAle bar. Live music each eve + Sat lunch. Open Thurs 6-11, Fri noon till 4pm (Sat 5:30pm) and 6-11. Blessed William Howard School Stafford. Only 10 mins from rail stn

Tue 3th - Sat 7th Aug 2010 Great British Beer Festival (GBBF)
Earls Court, London. Known as the Biggest Pub in the World. Huge range of beers, ciders and perries plus beers from around the World. Lots more on website.

Thu 12th - Sat 14th Aug 2010 Worcester Beer, Cider and Perry Festival
The Racecourse, Pitchcroft. 200+ real ales, 100 ciders+perries. Good selection of food/soft drinks. Open Thurs 5-11, £5. Fri 11-11, (£5 until 5:30 then £7) Sat 11-11 £5. CAMRA members get £2 beer vouchers. Admission includes festival glass and programme. Entertainment:- Thurs and Fri eves, all day Saturday. See website for further details.

Fri 13th - Sun 15th Aug 2010 Horse & Jockey beer festival
Starts Friday, open all day fri, sat and sun 12 till 12 food available fri 12-2 and from 6 pm ish onwards pork roast, burgers, chips etc until demand stops!!!, Sat 12 - 3 and same evening sun 12-4 carvery, chips and snacks also available BEERS-- approx 25 will post list on website in next week or so Entertainment---- fri and sat disco playing mix of northern soul and old and new stuff, hopefully sat pm we will have BLUES BROTHERS TRIBUTE ACT, TBC this week Camping pitches still available tent £5 night (2-3 man size) Julie

Sat 28th - Mon 30st Aug 2010 Rowington Club Beer Festival
15+ Real Ales and 4 ciders. Pig roast Saturday about mid-afternoon and Sunday and Monday. Live entertainment most sessions.:- Music Sat Emulsions 3:00 on. A trip here (cycling encouraged) is our August social, to arrive at the club about midday.

Fri 3th - Sat 4th Sept 2010 Harbury Beer festival
Village Hall, South Parade, Harbury. 60+ beers and ciders & perries. Open 5:30-11:00 (£2) Fri (quiet session) 11:30-4:00 (£1) and 6:00-11:30 (£2) Sat. Entry pack £10 (includes refundable glass and tokens) Free admission and extra tokens CAMRA members.

Fri 17th-Sun 19th Sept 2010 16th Bridgnorth Beer Festival
Severn Valley Rail Station, 50+ beers plus ciders and perries. Souvenir 1/2 pint mugs available. Pig roast Fri/Sat. Free entry. Open Fri/Sat 11:00-midnight. Sun 11:00- 17:00 or till beer runs out.

Fri 17th - 18th Sept 2010 20th Shrewsbury Beer Festival
This year's event will be held at the Severn Warehouse, Howards Bank, Shrewsbury. Fri 12:00 - 23:00 £3 (members £2) Opening hours Sat 12:00-21:00. £2 ( £1 members) Music both days.

Thu 28th - Sat 30th Sep 2010 Birmingham Beer Festival
200 beers available. Birmingham Beer Festival will be moving to a new venue and which will allow this years festival to be double the size of previous years held at Aston Uni.The festival will be held from Thursday 28th October until Saturday 30th at The Second City Suite, 100 Sherlock Street in the City Centre.

Fri 1st - Sat 2nd Oct 2010 Solihull CAMRA Beer Festival
The Royal British Legion, Union Road, Solihull Town centre (within easy walk of rail station and buses). 35+ beers , 2 ciders and a perry. Morris Men and Homebrew competition (Sat lunchtime); live band (Sat evening). Open: Fri 5.30-11.00pm; Sat 11.30am-3.30pm and 5.30-11.00pm. Admission at door each session £10 per head (no under 18s) comprising entry fee, programme, refundable souvenir glass hire and beer tokens (includes reduced entry fee for card-carrying CAMRA members). Hot food all sessions. Beer of the Festival voting throughout; unwanted beer tokens go to this year’s charity Cure Leukaemia.
