Session Beers


Pale or Golden Ale All Gates, Wigan, Greater Manchester Young Pretender 3.8%
A very pale beer, very crisp with an aroma of citrus fruits leading to a dry and hoppy finish.

Pale or Golden Ale Church End, Nuneaton, Warwickshire Pilgrim Father and Son 3.8%
Flavoured with Pilgrim hops grown by a Solihull CAMRA member who helped brew the beer along with his son.

Pale or Golden Ale Copper Dragon, Skipton, North Yorkshire Golden Pippin 3.9%
An intense citrus aroma and flavour with a dry bitter aftertaste.

Pale or Golden Ale Durham, Bowburn, County Durham White Gem 3.9%
A pale, robust session bitter made with hops from New Zealand.

Pale or Golden Ale Harviestoun, Clackmannanshire, Alva, Scotland Bitter & Twisted 3.8%
Hoppy beer with fruit flavours. A bittersweet taste with a long bitter finish.

Bitter or Mild Hobsons, Cleobury Mortimer, Worcestershire Mild 3.2%
Winner of the Champion Beer of Britain at the Great British Beer Festival 2007. A dazzling flavour comes through from the roasted malts. A classic mild .

Bitter or Mild Moorhouses, Burnley, Lancashire Black Cat 3.4%
Dark mild style beer with delicate chocolate and coffee roast flavours but with a crisp, bitter finish.

Pale or Golden Ale Roosters, Knaresborough, North Yorkshire Wild Mule 3.9%
Pale and moderately bitter with an aromas of grapes and gooseberries.

Pale or Golden Ale Caledonian, Edinburgh, Scotland XPA 4.3%
Brewed using Northdown, Cascade and Hallertau Hersbrucker hops, full flavoured with a bittersweet finish.

Pale or Golden Ale Crouch Vale, South Woodham Ferrers, Essex Brewers Gold 4.0%
Citrus fruity and hoppy beer with aromas of tropical fruits whilst bitterness dominates the finish. Supreme Champion Beer of Britain at the Great British Beer Festival 2005 and 2006.

Pale or Golden Ale Elland, Elland, West Yorkshire Snetzlers Special 4.3%
Golden, hoppy and bitter beer named after a church organ in Halifax.

Stout or Porter Hop Back, Salisbury, Wiltshire Odyssey 4.0%
A dark beer with a blend of four malts. Full bodied with a balance of maltiness, gentle coffee notes and smooth, slightly sweet flavours which build to a clean bitterness with hints of marmalade.

Pale or Golden Ale Kinver, Kinver, Staffordshire Pail 4.4%
Combines a hoppy aroma with a malty background. Citrus hops dominate but are tempered with fruit for a bittersweet balance. Astringent note at the end.

Lager or Wheat Beer Malvern Hills, Malvern, Worcestershire Priessnitz Pilsen 4.3%
A mix of soft fruits and citrus flavours makes for a quaffable summer thirst quencher.

Lager or Wheat Beer Oakham, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire White Dwarf 4.3%
A hoppy brew with a powerful citrus hop aroma and a zesty hop bitterness, ending with a powerful dry bite.

Pale or Golden Ale Phoenix, Heywood, Manchester White Monk 4.5%
A beautiful citrus fruit aroma with plenty of fruit, hops and bitterness in the taste and a hoppy, bitter finish.

Pale or Golden Ale Pictish, Rochdale, Lancashire Mandala 4.7%
Light coloured strong bitter, citrussy from the addition of American Mount Hood hops.

Lager or Wheat Beer Windsor Castle, Lye, West Midlands Green Man 4.0%
An extremely pale, lager styled ale. Brewed using the finest European lager hops. This is truly the perfect quaffing ale. Refreshing and very drinkable.

Pale or Golden Ale Wye Valley, Stoke Lacy, Herefordshire HPA 4.0%
A pale, hoppy, malty brew with a hint of sweetness before a dry finish.

Strong Beers / Old Ales


Pale or Golden Ale Acorn, Barnsley, South Yorkshire IPA 5.0%
Full of hoppy and fruit aroma. A hoppy dry and citrus fruit and bitter flavour that leads to a crisp citrus. hoppy fimish.

Pale or Golden Ale Bob's, Ossett, West Yorkshire Chardonnayle 5.1%
Complex, stylish strng pale ale with hints of lemongrass and fruits, with Willamette hops for aroma.

Stout or Porter Durham, Bowburn, County Durham Black Bishop 5.5%
A full bodied stout.

Pale or Golden Ale Fernandes, Wakefield, West Yorkshire Bier Keller Bitter 5%
A pale, hoppy strong beer.

Bitter or Mild Fullers, London ESB 5.5%
Complex, with hints of malt, hops and marmalade throughout. Smooth and rich with a warming dry sweet, bitter aftertaste.

Pale or Golden Ale Tunnel, Ansley, Warwickshire Solihull Silver Shield 4.8%
Golden ale specially brewed for Solihull CAMRA's 25th anniversary with the help of Solihull CAMRA members. Made with Pacific Gem, Amarillo and Cluster hops this is a pale, hoppy strong beer.

Bitter or Mild York, York, North Yorkshire Centurion's Ghost 5.4%
Gold winner in the Strong Bitter category of the Great British Beer Festival 2007. A dark ruby full-tasting mellow roast malt beer balanced by a light bitterness.

Stout or Porter Exmoor, Wiveliscombe, Somerset Beast 6.6%
A dark beer brewed with chocolate and crystal malts.

Stout or Porter Nethergate, Pentlow, Essex Stour Valley Strong Porter 6.5%
A ruby red porter brewed using amber,black and chocolate malts. As of Thursday evening this is a dodgy beer. Ask for a sample before buying.

Bitter or Mild Phoenix, Heywood, Manchester Wobbly Bob 6.0%
A malty aroma with strong a malty, fruity flavour, quite hoppy and a dry aftertaste.

Pale or Golden Ale Thornbridge, Bakewell, Derbyshire Jaipur IPA 5.9%
Well balanced with a fine blend of citrus and other fruit flavours, mixed with a slight sweetness and a lingering bitter finish.
